Paned cheese – A 5 min recipe appetizer
Here is a secret, since I was a teen, I used to have a KIRI in my bag..I grew up eating it. They said that 1 square has the same minerals and vitamins of 1 glass of milk..I grew up hating milk but loving cheese….
Those little kiris calmed my gastrite or the need of food while busy working..It was a bit of a companion, it is still..
You can have nice ideas for your toasts if you are a kiri freak and if you speak french, because this kiriclub website is in french. Bring out the kid in you (looking at its design, it looks like the website is made for them)
Back to the recipe, I was tired and no keen to do anything…I just made a tomato salad and paned Kiri as well as the Double Gloucester (but you can go with mozzarella as well or your favorite cheese if it can take 2 mins heat while frying).
I warmed up meatballs made the day before.. this was our lunch that day (this was supposed to be posted 2 weeks ago, sorry). There are days where you just don’t want to do anything. We have many of those..Blame the hormones…can’t really tell LOL.
– 4 Kiri squares
– 4 sticks and dices of Gloucester
– 1 egg beaten
– 3 tbsp of flour
– 3 tbsp of breadcrumbs
– Crushed peper (optional)
– Herbs (thyme, oreganon…optional)
